The Cliffs are one of Ireland's top tourist attractions, and are most often photographed from the top. This view, from half-way down the cliffs shows the benefit of aerial photography.
I was entranced with this work of Peter's when visiting his gallery. I wandered about as others in my party were selecting unframed pieces, and just kept circling back to look at it. I had no plans to purchase an art piece, but this one spoke to me, and I am happy to have his beautiful photographic work in my home.

A very special memory
This is a photo of one of our best experiences in Ireland. We hiked up to the Cliffs from Doolin early one perfectly clear, brisk, sunny morning. The cliffs were in sight for the entire hike, during which we passed only 2 other people. It was glorious and it ‘blew my heart open’! We lingered at the exact spot where this photo was taken. It hangs in our bedroom where I wake up and see that view every day. Thank you, Peter Cox!

The photo is an eye catcher amongst house guests through the dramatic image. It’s a recognisable Irish landmark captured at a rare angle which draws interest immediately. A top class photo.

Skellig Michael (Sceilig Mhichíl) is one of the jewels of Ireland's landscape and heritage. Seen here from a helicopter, the Small Skellig and Lemon Rock are also visible. Puffin Island, Valentia and Portmagee are all visible in the distance.
A double-pyramid of rock soaring up from the surface of the Atlantic, it houses two lighthouses (one decommissioned), a 6th century monastery and a hermitage from the same era.
The photos are stunning and a great credit to Peter Cox.

The Old Head of Kinsale is home to one of the world's most spectacular golf courses. Covering the end of the peninsula itself, bounded by cliffs on all sides with only a narrow isthmus connecting it to the rest of the peninsula, it's a strange mixture of wilderness and manicured beauty.
There has been a lighthouse at the Old Head since 1665. The original building is still present and was a cottage type with an open fire on its roof. The current 40-foot tower was built in 1853.
This photograph was made near sunset on a late summer's evening. The view is to the north with the golf course and lighthouse in the foreground and Kinsale town on the main coast to the right of frame. The low angle of the sun creates dramatic shadows which show the beautiful sculpting of the golf course very clearly.
Made with an ultra-high resolution digital sensor, in a large print golfers can be clearly seen on the course.
This beautiful photo captures the amazing topography on which this unique course was built.

A perfect reminder of my trip to Ireland
Not sure if I will, but I hope to return to Ireland someday. If I do, near the top of my list is another trip to Peter's gallery in Killarney. I stopped by 3 or 4 times during my visit and just couldn't get enough. He never tired of me walking around, asking questions, and not buying a thing. His work is absolutely spectacular.
A couple of months after returning to the USA I visited his website (again) and purchased a framed version of The Old Head of Kinsale. The picture of this photograph on the website does not do justice to its quality. The detail in the photo is just stunning.
The order process went smooth, and the packaging/delivery process could not have been better.
If you can get to Peter's studio, go. If you can't, go online and keep in mind the pictures there understate the true character of the photo itself.
Buy some of his work and enjoy.

Glimpse of Ireland’s rugged beauty
This is always a fresh and compelling reminder of Ireland’s rugged beauty every time I walk past this print. It also reminds me of the amazing time we had while there on a golf trip we took with a friend for his 60th birthday.
Also, very much appreciated the care taken when shipping to the US and the customer service related to that. Visiting the gallery in person is an experience as well!

The Fastnet is certainly Ireland’s finest lighthouse. Difficult to land on, and all but impossible to step from a boat for most of the year, this aerial view shows the typical angry sea that surrounds it.
Cape Clear Island is visible on the horizon, the closest point of land to the rock, often called the ‘Teardrop of Ireland’ as it was the last thing emigrants saw of their home country when sailing to America and Australia.
We got our large framed print of the fastnet after seeing it on holiday in Kerry. It is the centrepiece of our kitchen living area and lots of visitors comment on the what a great picture it is.
I could not be happier with everything - the print on Canvas arrived in only a few days and the quality is fantastic. It now has pride of place in my home and reminds me of happy summer days at Rossbeigh every day.

The Fastnet is the southernmost point of Ireland, and known as "Ireland's Teardrop" as it was often the last sight of home for emigrants heading to the New World.
Seen here in the aftermath of a storm, the trough of a swell passes by the rock, revealing details not normally seen.
Wow! Breath taking photo of the Fastnet Lighthouse
I absolutely love my picture of the Fastnet Lighthouse-Peter framed it and shipped it out to New Zealand, it arrived in perfect condition and very speedily,I am wowed by it every time I look at it 😍

The Ring of Kerry, despite its reputation for amazing scenery, actually bypasses many of the real gems of the Kerry landscape. However, Derrynane is an exception. It’s most dramatically seen when coming from the north where the bay is revealed all at once, a playground of sheltered coves and islets, and of course, its famous beach.
Hard against the mountains of southwest Kerry, it’s a place that rewards exploration. For this photograph, I wanted to capture a less obvious viewpoint, and found the meandering stream through the beach a compelling subject.
Peter was very helpful with the whole process from start to finish. The picture I ordered arrived within a few days and the photo quality was amazing. The frame is perfect also. Would highly recommend.

A popular beach on summer afternoons, Barley Cove is one of Cork's most beautiful beaches. Seen from the air on an October afternoon, beautiful broken light plays across the landscape.

Another beloved location for holidaymakers and surfers is the Maharees, a 5 kilometre long peninsula off the north coast of the Dingle peninsula. It’s actually a tombolo, a landform that occurs when an island or islands becomes attached to the shore by a spit of sand.
I bought this as a gift as it brings back memories of days in the west of Ireland that were such an escape from everything else. It can be grey and cold and still enjoyable but when you get a day that ends with an evening like the one in this picture it is truly memorable and lovely to have a reminder of good days.

A close in view of the lighthouse at the end of the Old Head of Kinsale on a beautiful Autumn evening. The golf course and clubhouse is visible in the background.
Hi - we purchased two pictures off the website and are very happy with them. Great quality, made it here quickly / in good condition and are currently being framed. Happy customers!

Rossbeigh is a partner to Inch. It emerges from the Iveragh peninsula and, while thinner and shorter than its cousin, it’s no less beautiful.
During the storms of 2013-2014, the facilities at the base of the spit were extensively damaged, and the shape of the peninsula was somewhat altered.

Rabbit Island lies just off Myross in West Cork, near Union Hall. Uninhabited now, there are the remains of a house on the northern shore, and seaweed was once gathered around its shores.
I bought two of these beautiful pieces on Rabbit Island as gifts. The feedback I have had is amazing - these are absolutely gorgeous and very sentimental as the recipients have sailed to rabbit Island. Very happy with the communication throughout and Peter and his team even organised gift wrap and personal message - thank you so much and will definitely look to these again in the future.

Ireland's most southerly point, Brow Head doesn't get nearly the attention its near neighbour, Mizen Head does. However, seen from the air especially, it's an incredible place.
An outstanding photo as a reminder of a wonderful day walking Three Castle Head, This picture catches the air of mystery and history of such a tranquil place, we will hang it in a prime position so as to remind us of good times gone by.

Valentia is a large island just off the north coast of the Iveragh peninsula. Connected to the mainland by a bridge, it's a lovely place to visit and has some stunning scenery. This image was made while returning from the abortive attempt to land on Inishteareaght and shows the north coast of the island being battered by a storm.
It's a rare privilege to see this kind of weather in action from the air, so I'm pleased to be able to share it with you.
