Norðurbarmur and Flowers, near Landmannalaugar, Iceland

Description:
Noršurbarmur is the north ridge of the rhyolite mountains in Landmannalaugar, one of the most-visited sites in the interior of the country. The place has a huge variety of scenery from lakes to mountains to lava fields to geothermal springs and vents.

This image was made with a super-wide lens just a couple of inches above the ground, allowing me to include the full drama of the scene from micro to macro.
