Three Puffins, Cape Ingólfshöfði, Iceland

Description:
Showing clearly why they are so fondly regarded around the world, these three puffins stand unconcerned at the lip of a drop of several hundred feet. The photographer is slightly more concerned (due to an inferior ability to fly).
I love the way these birds are arranged in the frame - two looking one way and one looking the other. Their colourful beaks and the laugh-lines under their eyes convey a sense of perpetual amusement.
