Blustery Afternoon, The Hook, Co. Wexford
Award Details:* Silver Crest from the Irish Professional Photographers Association in 2006Description:
A view of the Hook from much the same position as my nocturne, this image has a completely different character.
It was earlier in the same day - late in the afternoon - and it was quite windy. I tried to capture the Hook in its context, with the uneasy sea and clouds dominating the scene.
This image is unusual for me as it is black and white. It was converted from a colour original as it is primarily about tone and mood.
