Description:
This photograph was made of Broad Brook in Williamstown, in January. There had been a cold snap, followed by a thaw and a drop in the river levels.
This left some strange looking ice 'caps' on rocks in the river, which were then left high and dry by the receding water, resulting in some wierd and wonderful sculptures.
This image was made after sunset, so the long exposure has smoothed the flow of water in the brook leaving a water sculpture to mirror the ice above.
