Description:
While on a workshop with a student, we noticed this grasshopper resting on a fence post.

It was the perfect opportunity to demonstrate macro, or close-up photography on a willing subject. The grasshopper stayed around long enough for us both to get excellent shots of him - not very common for wildlife of any sort!
