On the Rocks

Description:
A rather sleepy-looking seal demonstrating its natural camoflage. Taken just off the shore of the Isle of Skye near Loch Coruisk this was one of a group of seals that make their home there.

This is a very playful image - I like the seal's pose and the gradual transition of dark to light colours in the scene. The little splash of algae in the foreground adds a touch of colour.
