Description:
High Summer in the Morton Arboretum near Chicago. A difficult thing to photograph effectively in the middle of the day, and I was feeling a little disheartened when I rounded a corner and was presented with this scene.

This image is all about greens, hence the title. The lone tree with its vivid pale-green leaves makes a startling contrast with the very dark greens of the forest behind. The foreground prairie grass mixed with white blossoms completes the gradient and makes for a very satisfying, summery photograph.
