Another one of my favourite images, this was made on Tramore Strand just as the sun was rising. Looking towards the eastern promontory guarding Tramore Bay, the pair of beacons can be clearly made out.
I love the lines in this image - the marks left by the retreating tide all converge to root of the headland, which then leads the eye out to the point. Even the red glow of the sunrise follows the pattern.
