Rainbows are one thing that Iceland has no shortage of. This particular one was captured while driving along the south coast, and is a fine example of storm lighting. The sun is peeking through the clouds to the left of the frame and has illuminated the cliffs beautifully, contrasting with the dark stormclouds in the frame. The rainbow is a stub formed by the highly filtered light - the cliff and clouds prevented it from growing any further.
Lómagnúpur is the most impressive of the cliffed mountains on the south coast, but it sometimes feels like the entire coastline is covered with cliffs of this stature. They once marked the coastline, and were sea cliffs. Over the millenia, glacial melt and outwash floods have deposited silt which has extended the coast by a few miles of flat and fertile land.

We offer free shipping, anywhere in the world. This applies to all prints, framed, unframed, canvas, acrylic - everything! It also applies to books and portfolios. To qualify, total order value must be €150 or more. If the order value is less than that a flat rate of just €20 applies.

Irish customers can enjoy free shipping on all orders with no minimum spend required.

We produce all our prints to order, so you can be sure you're getting the best quality work to hang on your wall. As a result, in busy times it can take a while to process the orders. In the worst case, which is generally during the peak months of July-September, it can take 4-6 weeks to receive large framed prints. Large canvases generally take 2-3 weeks. Unframed prints are generally also 2-3 weeks at worst.

We aim to get prints out as quickly as possible, so we would expect and hope that you would receive them earlier than the above timeframes. If you have a particular need to get a print quickly, please let us know in the order notes and we'll prioritize it for you, or you can email us at info@petercox.ie.

Prints are well-packaged and in the unlikely event that it arrives damaged, we'll send a replacement free of charge.

I saw this print in his gallery in 2014 never forgot about it. I decided to order a “ready to hang” print and am so happy I did!
It arrived quickly with no damage because it was wrapped so carefully! It’s stunning and I never get tired of looking at it. It brings me back to Ireland every time I see it . The only problem with his gallery is that there are so many gorgeous prints that it’s hard to pick just one. Highly recommend his work and his care of his customers!

Peter Cox is an amazing photographer,conscientious business man and a fine person. Our 60x20 Skelligs Sunset arrived in Oregon,expertly packed, and is hanging in our coast home.
