The evening light settles over Skellig Michael’s South Peak, casting a warm glow on the weathered stone terraces that cling to the cliffs. Below, the white lighthouse stands at the water’s edge, while the older, now-unused light peeks from behind the rocks, almost hidden by the rugged landscape. Though it may look like a winding path, these terraces were carved into the rock centuries ago and can only be reached by climbing near-vertical cliffs. They are a testament to the resilience of those who once lived here, shaping the land to survive in this remote and unforgiving place. Photographing Skellig Michael from this perspective reveals its incredible scale and isolation. The play of light and shadow across the rock highlights the island’s texture, while the deep blue of the Atlantic stretches endlessly beyond. This image captures the quiet grandeur of a place where history and nature are inseparable.

We offer free shipping, anywhere in the world. This applies to all prints, framed, unframed, canvas, acrylic - everything! It also applies to books and portfolios. To qualify, total order value must be €150 or more. If the order value is less than that a flat rate of just €20 applies.

Irish customers can enjoy free shipping on all orders with no minimum spend required.

We produce all our prints to order, so you can be sure you're getting the best quality work to hang on your wall. As a result, in busy times it can take a while to process the orders. In the worst case, which is generally during the peak months of July-September, it can take 4-6 weeks to receive large framed prints. Large canvases generally take 2-3 weeks. Unframed prints are generally also 2-3 weeks at worst.

We aim to get prints out as quickly as possible, so we would expect and hope that you would receive them earlier than the above timeframes. If you have a particular need to get a print quickly, please let us know in the order notes and we'll prioritize it for you, or you can email us at info@petercox.ie.

Prints are well-packaged and in the unlikely event that it arrives damaged, we'll send a replacement free of charge.

I saw this print in his gallery in 2014 never forgot about it. I decided to order a “ready to hang” print and am so happy I did!
It arrived quickly with no damage because it was wrapped so carefully! It’s stunning and I never get tired of looking at it. It brings me back to Ireland every time I see it . The only problem with his gallery is that there are so many gorgeous prints that it’s hard to pick just one. Highly recommend his work and his care of his customers!

Peter Cox is an amazing photographer,conscientious business man and a fine person. Our 60x20 Skelligs Sunset arrived in Oregon,expertly packed, and is hanging in our coast home. Peter's advice on size, framing or not to frame, and canvas type were spot on. We have 3 smaller prints at our home in Bend, which we have enjoyed for many years.
