This image shows detail of the sound between Valentia and the mainland. The bridge that links the island to Portmagee can be clearly seen. The bridge was built in 1970, and previously a ferry ran from the village. At the eastern end of the island, a ferry still runs, connecting that side with the town of Cahersiveen.
In the distance, the snow-capped peaks of the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks, Ireland’s highest mountain range, huddle together beneath a squall.

Ordering, payment, shipping all very easy. Large piece arrived quickly and unscathed. Beautiful photograph. Also had excellent Informative encounter at the store in Killarney Ireland with the Female staff person.
Absolutely Stunning Piece of Artwork, Shipped Securely to US
I was enchanted by the Grand Masterpiece sized canvas print of Small Skellig when my husband and I visited the Peter Cox Photography shop in Killarney, Ireland. It did not at first occur to me that I could order and ship it to the US. Once I had returned home, I continued to think about that beautiful piece of artwork. I looked it up online and discovered I could ship it to the US at no charge. Of course, I was also worried about it arriving in perfect condition. However, they took amazing care to box it securely in perfectly sized boxes. It arrive safe and beautiful, ready to hang. It is now hanging majestically over our family room sofa. This space has remained bare for twenty years, because I never found a piece of art I love enough to place there - until now! Thank you for sharing your beautiful photography with the world!
I purchased two prints online, Mount Errigal and Dunmore. I was informed of the shipping time and the tracking was effortless, arrived on time in a perfectly sealed envelope with multiple layers of cardboard in between, and the prints were individually wrapped in a clear sleeve and a few sheets of matboard to keep the print flat.
The prints are signed and named on the white border under the print, high-quality paper, and sharp and detailed prints, I am very happy with the purchase.
Thank you
Saw this 7 years ago in Killarney in the gallery and should have bought it then. Returned last fall, and should have bought it then.
Bought it online this spring, and arrived quickly, with great communication! Has been framed, hung, and is being enjoyed! Even the framer said it was an AMAZING photograph!
We visited your gallery in Killarney a few years ago and purchased one of your books with amazing photographs. As it was recently my husband’s 60th birthday I bought him a print of Small Skellig which he is fascinated with. He was absolutely delighted with it and it is now hanging on our wall. It is a great link with your book which is on a nearby table for all to look at! Ordering process was great and quick delivery. Thank you.
If you cannot see Ireland with your own eyes, Peter’s brilliant photography is the next best thing. This book is flawless, and we will definitely be buying more copies.
In addition, the customer service we received was first class. We requested a personalized, signed copy for our friend and Carol and Peter didn’t hesitate to make it happen.
Thanks, again!

Stunning Small Skellig
I ordered Peter Cox's stunning photo of Small Skellig which now sits in my main foyer at home. I get as much enjoyment from looking at it every time I come home as I do explaining its origins to guests who remark and ask about it when they arrive!

Heather in bloom
The flowers are Heather, our oldest daughter was named Heather. This photograph picked us as much as we picked it. Phenomenal photograph of beauty and peacefulness, we purchased the museum size acrylic print - ready to hang. It arrived to our Iowa doorstep in perfect condition and looks amazing above our open stairway. We had the added bonus of meeting Peter during our visit to his Killarney gallery. Terrific human and talented artist. The entire experience turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our Ireland vacation.
