See It On Your Wall
The hardest part of buying art online is working out how big something will actually feel once it's up in your own room. A measurement on a screen tells you very little, and holding your hands apart in the sitting room and squinting tells you even less.
So I'll do it for you, before you buy. Send me an image of your wall and I'll send back the photograph you're interested in, hanging on that wall, at its true size and in the correct perspective. It's free, and there's no obligation to order anything afterwards.
What I need from you
Two things, and that's it.
First, one photograph of your wall with the whole wall in shot, including where it meets the ceiling and where it meets the floor. Stand square on to it if you can rather than shooting from a sharp angle off to one side, and don't worry about it being pretty, a quick phone image is perfectly good.
Second, one real measurement of something visible in that same image. The width of the wall works, or the width of the sofa sitting underneath it, or the height of a door. Tell me which two points the measurement runs between, so left-hand edge of the sofa to right-hand edge, or skirting board to ceiling. That's the part people tend to leave out, and it's the part I need.
One measurement is genuinely enough for me to scale the entire room.
What you get back
What comes back to you is the real product, not a flat crop of the image pasted onto a picture of your room. A canvas returns as a canvas, with its depth and the shadow it casts on the wall. A framed piece returns with the actual moulding, the signed paper border, and the printed title, and the size quoted for framed work is always the outer dimensions of the frame rather than the image inside it. An acrylic returns with its gloss.
Everything is placed at its true catalogue size against your room, so the size you see is the size that arrives.
No photograph of the wall? There's a room for that
If you don't have an image of the space to hand, or you're still deciding between sizes rather than deciding on a wall, I've also got 3D rooms I can hang a piece in. It's not your own room, but it'll give you an honest sense of scale to work from.

Email me at peter@petercox.ie with the photograph and the measurement, and let me know which image you're interested in and which format, so print, framed print, canvas, or acrylic. If you're not sure of the format yet, say so and I'll show you a couple.

Can I see what the print will look like in my room before I buy?
Yes. Peter Cox offers a free room preview. Send a photograph of your wall and he'll place your chosen image on it at its true catalogue size, in the correct perspective, so you can judge the scale properly before ordering. There's no obligation to buy.
How do I get a room preview?
Email peter@petercox.ie with two things: one photograph showing the whole wall, from where it meets the ceiling to where it meets the floor and taken square on rather than at a sharp angle, and one real measurement of something visible in that image, such as the width of the wall or the width of the sofa beneath it. Say which two points the measurement spans. Mention which image and which format you're interested in, or say you're unsure and Peter will show you a couple of formats. If you've nothing to send, ask for a 3D room instead.
Does it cost anything?
No. The room preview is free and carries no obligation to buy.
Will it show the actual frame?
Yes. Framed previews show the real moulding, the signed paper border, and the printed title, and framed sizes are quoted at the outer frame dimensions. Canvas and acrylic previews show the real depth, shadow, and gloss of the finished piece rather than a flat version of the image.
Can you do this for a whole office or hotel?
