Atlantic Light is a collection of aerial photographs of the Wild Atlantic Way - Ireland's west coast. The first of its kind, the images were made from a combination of helicopters, aeroplanes and drones. The Irish coast is revealed in a light you haven't seen before!
The book's dimensions are 300 x 246mm.
Acrylic is a way of displaying prints in a very sleek and modern way. The print is made on a high-gloss, very smooth paper which is then adhered to a lightweight but stiff backing, usually dibond.
Then a sheet of 6mm thick acrylic is mounted to the front of the print using an optically clear adhesive layer. The result is a crystal-clear, high definition print with no border that looks as though it's floating on the wall.
Because the process is very finicky, any dust or defect during the process means the materials can not be reused, so it's very expensive to produce - hence the higher price tag. However, it is definitely a striking way to display a print!
Our 'Museum' size panoramic prints are very long - 7 and a half feet, or 2.3 meters. Unfortunately this means that they exceed the size of the largest sheets of acrylic available, so it's simply not possible to make them.
We recommend you purchase it as a canvas print instead, which still looks incredible. So incredible that we're pretty sure at least one minor fender-bender happened outside the gallery because the Museum size panoramic print hanging in the front window distracted someone passing by.
When selecting your print, please be aware of two things:
- Unframed prints are free to ship anywhere in the world
- Framed prints will have a shipping charge
Framed prints are bulky and delicate and therefore require extra time and materials to pack them properly so they arrive in good condition. Due to their size, they also cost more to ship.
As such, you may balk a little at the shipping cost (which is specific to your location, and will be shown to you before you finalize checkout). Please be assured, we are not profiting from this charge, it merely reflects the time, materials and courier charge we incur to get your print to you safely.

Having seen Peter’s book in the hotel we stayed in during a recent visit to Ireland (Killarney) we wanted to purchase a copy as a constant reminder of how stunning the coastline of Western Ireland is. It wasn’t our first visit to the West Coast of Ireland so the book serves as a constant reminder of many trips to that area. We purchased both the large coffee table and the smaller version so that they are easily to hand within our home. We highly recommend Peter’s photography.
