This is the book that started everything for me. Ninety landscape photographs made across Ireland between 2005 and 2012, covering ground from the bays of West Cork all the way up to the headlands of Donegal, with plenty of stops in between.

The Irish Light traces the full sweep of the coastline, but also moves inland to the lakes, mountains and bogland that give this country its particular character. It was my attempt to understand what Irish light actually is — that quality that keeps pulling photographers out of bed before dawn.

Joe Cornish, one of Britain's most respected landscape photographers, wrote the foreword. Having his perspective on the work means a lot to me.
