Congrats, I'd suggest that your book should become part of the Irish primary/secondary curriculum The book should be part of our natural heritage "teaching" as well on everyone's Christmas list (fantastic gifts) Kids can use them in art classes, history classes, secondary pupils should be taught how to construct beehive huts or/and paint your Shellig Photos in classes etc.... Gorgeous moody island and perfect print
I joined the kickstarter for the Skellig book and selected a pretty large print reward (Masterpiece). When the time for choosing a print came I was torn between all those colorful sunsets, the star-sky over the island,.... And then I found this -- as wide panorama. I already loved this as cover photos, but having that wide view is just epic. After a quick check with Peter if I could select wide panoramas I ordered this print, and next day I got a little worried if the dark cliff face actually will have details or if it will just fall away into black. I shouldn't have worried... the print is gorgeous, with a dark but detailed cliff, with little waterfalls and tiny birds circling. the green water color and the almost white of the crashing waves all have detail and structure. The first opportunity I brought it to the framing shop and I'll have it put up as soon as I get it back.

I subscribed to the Kickstarter campaign for this book sight-unseen because I had full confidence the product would be fine, and having received it, along with an original print, I can confirm to myself and to the readers here that they are fine - in fact excellent. Both the photography and the reproduction quality are superb, and seeing what the photography involved, no doubt this is a unique perspective and unique publication that will remain so for a very long time to come. Excellent book
Before receiving this book, I had no idea idea of what or where the Skelligs is. Now I do and what a desolate place and so isolated. Mr. Cox photographs are marvelous. They are stunning. But to think how he made these images is mind boggling. So much for hiking in the Sierra Nevada, Canadian and Rocky Mountains as the Skelligs are something else. Kudos to Mr. Cox for bringing an isolated place and showing us God’s beauty. A wonderful book. Thank you Mr. Cox.
