Letters from the Landscape
From above the southern tip, everything changes. The long spine of grass-covered dunes running the full length, the curve of beach wrapping around, tidal flats on the sheltered side where waders gather in remarkable numbers. Rossbeigh reaches in from the opposite shore, and the two sand spits nearly close off the inner bay entirely. It's a shape you simply cannot grasp from the ground.
The morning was almost windless, which was the key to this image. Every tidal pool on the lee side had turned to glass, reflecting cloud and sand back perfectly. A soft pink light was breaking through just enough to colour the shallow water across the whole scene. That combination of stillness and warmth gave the place a quietness it rarely has, especially in summer when the surfers and car parks take over.
A familiar place made unfamiliar. The dune system, the wave patterning in exposed sand, the sheer reach of it all. Most visitors never walk past the first few hundred metres. The far end of Inch is a different world entirely!

Within the EU there's no customs duty; outside it, any import duty or tax is the buyer's to pay.
Yes. A framed size is the whole frame, edge to edge: 3 inches bigger each way than the print inside it. An unframed size is the sheet of paper, including the white border where I sign and title each print by hand. Canvas and Floating Panel sizes are the face of the piece.
